With the recent talk about auction houses, I decided to post this. Now I do not know what exactly an auction house is, except for clues from the name. So granted this is not the same thing as the auction house, this is my suggestion. Have players be able to set up their own shops on the streets of one designated city, or even up to all of the major citys. This would allow all of the people who just want a set price for their item to be able to sell it without having to spam all the time.

That...... is a very very bad idea. I've seen that implemented before on another game called Kal and the entire streets and towns are nothing but spammed up with players shops. What's even worse they have yellow text that stay up when you where selling and it was nothing but a sea of yellow text! it really detracted to the game when you reach town and 95% of the people there are afk only. The wow auction house would be the best way to go, i found their system was top notch cause the town was at least full of live people running around doing things. I like GW for not letting you setup shop or else you'll find nothing but each town with tons of districts full of nothing but shop upon shops, with little or no interaction. that would quickly eat up their bandwidth like crazy.
